Celebration Seminar

Please join us for this special anniversary honouring Sensei Sargeant and his lifetime of studying Aikido.

The celebration day will be shared with guest instructors (see below) as well as talks given by past students and friends.

There is also a social event planned, following the seminar at Browns in Cambridge.

 (Please remember to bring your ken and jo and valid insurance if training. Insurance can be issued on the day. Teaching slots may be subject to change)

There is no parking at the Venue but parking is free of charge at the Madingley Road Park & Ride carpark a short (5 minute walk) distance from the venue: (shows walk from Park & Ride to Seminar Venue)

Light refreshments will be available as well as ample seating. Across the road from the venue there is a Sainsbury supermarket if you need to buy food and snacks.

If you are planning on staying in Cambridge then please use standard internet search/services to assist with finding the best deal. Sadly Cambridge is a popular and expensive location.

Information:

We are continuing the to celebrate Sensei Sargeant’s ’50 Years in Aikido’ with an evening meal at Browns. The numbers are limited so if you wish to join us then please select this on the registration form before sending to celebration@tonbo-aikido.org. You will need to pay in advance and by the 28th August to ensure we have secured your reservation at the restaurant.

Drinks can be ordered and paid for separately at Browns, where there is a well stocked bar.

Parking on the street is possible but metered until 18:30 and then is free of charge. Alternatively you could use the Grand Arcade car park followed by a short walk. Please use Google Maps, etc. to assist with the location and walking routes.
